On Friday, November 2, Dallas' newest truck park opened, along with US Food Truck's Commissary. The park , called MockAR (pronounced Mocker) is a play on the words Mockingbird and Ambassador Row, where the park is located. Several of the trucks that plan to use US Food Trucks as a Commissary have been doing lunch service at this location for a couple of weeks and the location is expected to develop easily, as new trucks sign on with the Commissary.
At the end of November, Clearfork Food Truck Park, called Colonial Food Truck park during the planning stages, will open in Fort Worth. The park, located at 1541 Merrimac Circle. Several established Fort Worth Trucks including Gepetto's and Fred's Wagon plan to be regular occupants at Clearfork. I will have a full post on this park later in the week.
Tuesday, November 6 starts the Tasty Tuesday at Sprouts, 11722 Marsh Lane in Dallas. This event will be the first Tuesday of every month and will feature eight trucks each month.
Wednesday November 7 Brown bags at The Opera - The Dallas Opera performs noontime recitals outside the Winspear Opera House. Folks can grab a food truck bite and hear an opera star. Please remember there is some one hour, free parking along Flora. Day time $5 to park at the Winspear Red Lexus garage.
November 10-11 is a big weekend for DFW trucks, as they head to San Antonio to "Conquer Chiari". As I blogged earlier, this event will be held at the Boardwalk on Bulverde and will help food truck fan Michelle Malpica raise funds to bring awareness and treatment at the terrible illness, Chiari that has drastically impacted her life as well as the lives of others.
November 10-11, the trucks head to White Rock Lake to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the White Rock Lake Festival, this year's the event is "Tunes and Trucks" and will feature ten trucks and 2 days of music. Saturday, November 24, the food trucks will be in Lake Highlands from 12-5 for a fall festival. 15-20 trucks are expected to be serving, along with Durty Laundry and their music truck. More details will be forthcoming with this event.

Wednesday night, several locations host food trucks:

Street Food Wednesday is at the Crate & Barrel at 3104 Knox Street, with 4-5 trucks each week.
The Food Truck Experience is every Wednesday from 6 -9 at Sigel’s at 5757 Greenville Ave in Dallas. Each week, Jacks Chowhound, Ssham BBQ, Rock And Roll Tacos, The Belgian Waffle and Crazy Fish will be serving from 6 - 9.

Food trucks are also in Lake Highlands every Wednesday from 5 – 8, at the Eco-Op Office, 10137A Shoreline Drive. This event is sponsored by U.S. Food Trucks and they will post the line –up of trucks each week.
Camden Design District also hosts trucks on Wednesday nights at 15510 Oak Lawn in Dallas. This event is also hosted by U.S. Food trucks.

Thursday nights:
From 5-8 on Thursday, food trucks are at Camden Farmer’s Market, at 2250 Marilla. This event is sponsored by U.S. Food Trucks.

On Fridays, Cedars Food Truck Park brings you Alfresco Fridays with live music, a local brewery and a weekly rotation of food trucks. Bring the family and enjoy the evening. The list of food trucks each week can be found at http://www.cedarsfoodpark.com/.
Every Friday Night is the Payday Block Party at Sigel's at 5757 Greenville Ave in Dallas. Tutta's Pizza, The Gastro Bomber, Taco Party and My Cupcake Garden will all be serving and Sigel's will be available if you want to pair your food with beer or wine.
