For several months, I have been toying with the idea of creating video blogs about the food trucks. I envisioned these being an extension of the blog and different way to feature the trucks and their ever changing menu. Let's face it, if I am doing a write up of one truck a week, it will take me over a year to cover everyone. In that time much changes with trucks. So, the videos are a way to reconnect with the trucks, months later. But videos take significant resources for editing. Time is something that I do not have much to give freely. Then, through the magic of Twitter, a company called TVTX started following me. This company has created a Texas branded, internet tv station. In additional to uploading videos that other create, they are available to hire to come to your location, film and edit Texas content for you. Bingo! After several planning sessions, we shot a pilot last week, with one of the most fun trucks out on the streets of DFW.

Stay tuned as we continue to visit the food trucks and check in to what they have been doing since we wrote about them.
