Spend Spring Break In the Arts District and Party on Friday Night
The Dallas Arts District is ending the Spring Break week by throwing their annual Spring Break Block Party and closing down Flora and Harwood Streets. Visit the District from 6p-midnight for free street music, food trucks, and more! Admission to the DMA will be 1/2 price, and the Nasher and Crow Collection will be free. Mark your calendars, it's an event not to be missed!
Also, document your Spring Break Block Party experience with goofy props in color, black and white or vintage sepia tone prints in FREE photo booth. The booth is inspired by the Crow Collection's new photography exhibition David Gibson: Toward Kasuga Shrine Along Pathways of Lanterns.
6:30: Japanese drumming by Dallas Kiyari Daiko.
8:30: singer and songwriter Rahim Quazi
10:00: classical and contemporary music, featuring Elaine Whitmire with Kevin Smith and Lauren Hall
Dinner: City Street Grill, Easy Slider Truck, Gandolfo’s New York Deli, Green House, Nammi, Rock and Roll Tacos, Ssahm BBQ, The Butcher’s Son, Tin Star Taco Taxi, TX Delizioso.
Dessert: Trailer Cakes, Enticed
Dinner trucks will be located along Harwood St. between Ross Ave. and Flora St. Dessert trucks will be at the intersection of Olive and Flora Streets.
